    Chives ( allium schoenoprasum -Bohemia)

This wonderful perennial patch plant has pink decorative

    flowers and aromatic leaves.

This particular variety is high yielding which is intended

for forcing as well as field growing. The leaves are quite

wide in diameter and are a medium green colour. They

have a rather sharp taste but are very high in Vitamin C.

Growing time until harvest is approx 100 days and the

harvest can be repeated. This Variety has good over

wintering abilities. Planting starts in Spring or Autumn

    with spacing of 10x20cm.

    Rosemary (rosmarius officinalis)

This Perennial evergreen Shrub with lovely aromatic leaves is best

known for its culinary use especially with lamb. Although used in

many culinary dishes. This bush grows to about 120cm and should

live for several years if trimmed to keep their shape.

Sow March to May under cover ideally in a propagator, using seed

compost. Germination can tend to be slow and erratic and take

several weeks. But worth the end result.

Prick out seedlings and grow on before planting out
